Basement Remodel with Full Bath, Bedroom & Gym in North Wales, PA

We turned an unfinished basement in North Wales, PA into a full living level. First we dried it out with a French drain and ejector pump. Then we added a spa-style full bathroom, a bedroom with a walk-in closet and egress window, a home gym, a laundry room, new windows, recessed lighting and plenty of storage.

A spa-style full bathroom

We installed a macerator pump to service a brand-new full bathroom in the basement.

It has a luxurious Kohler freestanding tub with a black freestanding tub filler, a TOTO bidet toilet, a 36-inch vanity with two wall sconces and black Kohler faucets, and a 40" x 40" corner shower enclosure with a black Kohler shower system.

The new bedroom has a full walk-in closet, baseboard heat and an egress window that serves as a second way out in an emergency.

We also put in new windows throughout the basement, recessed lighting and storage closets.

Behind the walls: keeping it dry

Before anything was finished, we cut the floor and installed a French drain with an ejector pump so water stays out of the new space for good.
