Attic Playroom Conversion in Hilltown, PA

We turned an unfinished storage attic in Hilltown, PA into a gorgeous playroom, packed with custom carpentry: oak-wrapped beams with color-changing LED lighting, shadow box walls, custom built-ins around an electric fireplace, and three hidden storage areas that open at the push of a button.

Where we started

The attic was bare framing and plywood, used only for storing boxes.

Oak beams, LED lighting and shadow box walls

We wrapped the beams in custom-made oak and added multi-colored LED lighting above them for a beautiful glow. Shadow box wainscoting runs around the room, and recessed lighting keeps it bright.

Entertainment wall with custom built-ins

We built custom cabinets with soft-close doors and drawers plus open shelving on both sides of an electric fireplace, set into a natural oak decorative slat wall panel.

Push-button hidden storage

We engineered three custom hidden storage areas behind the wall panels. Each one opens at the push of its own button.

Comfort, light and fresh air

We added Mohawk LVP flooring, a Daikin mini split unit for heating and cooling, and an additional window to bring in more natural light and air.
